Thanksgiving is one of the greatest holidays. Do I say this because I love the food? Well, yes that has to do with it. But also because I am SO very thankful and blessed with so much! What am I most thankful for? Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Yes, I say Our... he is Our Lord... not mine, not yours, OURS! Where would I be without Him? Well, I cannot even answer that question. Because ever since I have begun my journey with Him my life has been so rich. No, I'm not rich. But I am rich with Jesus love and try to share that as much as possible. Now don't get me wrong... I am just as thankful for family and friends. Heaven knows I would not be the young woman I am today without my family and friends. Family is so very important to me. My family would sacrifice anything and everything for me. I love them so very much for this, because I am not always deserving. Friends get me through everything. Without my camp friends I would not have made it through the semester. Without some of my Theta friends I would not have begun YoungLife. Without any of my friends I would be a very dull and not so loving person. Saying all of this about my friends I have to share a couple of sweet texts that my lovely friends sent me yesterday. Let me tell you, I am not sharing these because I want to shove in your face that my friends love me, or whatever else one might assume. I'm sharing this because it means SO very much to me that I have even had the slightest impact or have showed enough love to them. All of these girls are my camp friends... of course :) and I love them with all of my heart! So thank you Abby, Aubrey, and Macy for making my day just a little bit better by sharing this with me!
Abby
Aubrey
sweet Macy
these texts truly made my day... I cannot thank y'all enough for being such a blessing in my life.
this is what true friends are!
I also have to share these pictures that I forgot to share in the first post.
Me and my sweet mother.
Of course we both wore orange :)
Oh baby Edward you're growing up too fast!
I wish the picture wasn't so darn blurry!
Here's my prayer for the week in my devotion that I just love:
"Speak, O Lord, as we come to you, to receive the food of Your holy word. Take Your truth, plant it deep in us; shape and fashion us in Your likeness, that the light of Christ might be seen today, in our acts of love and our deeds of faith. Speak, O Lord, and fulfill in us all Your purposes, for Your glory."
I hope everyone had a blessed and fantastic Thanksgiving!
Now I gotta go cheer for my boys!
War Eagle!
