Today was great!! I woke up and went and got grandma! Then she and I went and met aunt Amy at O'Carrs in downtown Homewood. I haven't been there in so long and it was delicious! Aunt Amy bought my lunch and even let me get dessert. We split a chocolate peanut butter milkshake which was beyond words amazingly delicious!
After we ate lunch we walked around downtown Homewood and went in a couple of shops. We went in atHome and they have the coolest stuff in there! If I could I would buy all of my furniture there for when I have a house one day! A lot of their stuff is just really vintage and well... my style. Then we went with aunt Amy to pick Edward up from school! He was so excited to see me and grandma, it was sweet. Then me and grandma went to Publix to get broccoli for the casserole my mom is making tomorrow because when she went to the store the other day she bought spinach instead of broccoli... haha. senior moment. Hope she doesn't read this... if she does sorry mom :)
When we got home grandma and I watched Oprah from yesterday that was recorded. It was about nuns marrying Jesus... it was rather interesting to say the least. I did not realize the process of becoming and being a nun was so... what's the word? strict/restricted. Mom got home and I set the table and the triplets came down! Here's a picture of me and sweet Jensen!
I went to dinner with Alison, Amanda, Courtney, Kendall, and Lindsay tonight! Dinner was great... we went to sumo and then yogurt mountain! Amanda told us she got engaged today! I am so excited for her. What a blessing this is and will be for her and Alberto!
Here's my inspiration for the night:
It is from my devotion last night...
"I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go,
and I will bring you back to this land.
I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you."
-Genesis 28:15
One more quote:
"Prayer is creating a sacred space where you can be overwhelmed
with God's uncompromising love and acceptance."
from Living in God's Embrace by Michael Fonseca
